On 8 August President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov arrived in Baku with a two-day official visit.
Turkmen-Azerbaijani talks kicked off with a face-to-face meeting of the two leaders. The state information agency TDH reports that the agenda includes the interaction within the framework of international organizations, increase in the volume of bilateral trade, implementation of joint energy and transportation and transit projects as well as exchange of views on the Caspian Sea issue and development of partnership in cultural and humanitarian area.
